
The Institute of Health Sciences (IHS), University of Peshawar, was established to advance education and professional training in Allied Health Sciences and to address the growing need for a skilled and competent healthcare workforce. As a constituent institute of the University of Peshawar, IHS is committed to academic excellence, innovation, and service to society through quality education, research, and professional development.
The Institute currently offers seven undergraduate degree programs in Allied Health Sciences, designed to equip students with the knowledge, technical expertise, and professional values required to support modern healthcare systems. Students benefit from an outcome-based curriculum, experienced faculty, modern teaching and laboratory facilities, and clinical training in collaboration with leading teaching hospitals and healthcare institutions.
