A meeting of the Deans was held in the Committee Room under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Meritorious Prof. Dr. Johar Ali.

In view of the prevailing financial constraints, the meeting recommended the pooling of vehicles currently assigned to Deans’ Offices, academic departments, institutes, constituent colleges, and schools to ensure the efficient and economical utilization of university resources.

During the meeting, the Vice Chancellor voluntarily proposed that an amount of Rs. 20,000 be deducted from his salary to cover expenses related to the official use of a university vehicle. The proposal was appreciated by the participants as a demonstration of leadership, accountability, and commitment to the university’s cost-saving measures.

The participants emphasized the importance of prudent financial management and collective efforts to optimize available resources while maintaining the smooth functioning of academic and administrative affairs.

Meeting was also attended by the registrar University of Peshawar Prof. Dr. Yorid Ahsan Zia, Director Administration and Treasurer office.
