The Directorate of Students’ Societies, University of Peshawar, organized a meeting with the UNICEF team. The meeting was joined by Mr. Vincent Petit, Global SBC Chief, UNICEF; Mr. Elnur Aliyea, Chief of SBC Section, UNICEF Islamabad; Mr. Sohail Khan, SBC Officer, UNICEF Peshawar, and Dr. Muhammad Ibrar, Deputy Director, Students’ Societies, and Focal Person for the UNICEF, University of Peshawar.

The meeting included a comprehensive exchange between the University of Peshawar and the UNICEF team on UNICEF interventions at the university, including the academic partnership, youth participation and engagement, C2C activities, and Social Action Plans. A brief documentary was also presented, showcasing the journey of the UNICEF within the University of Peshawar.

Students from North, Central, and South KP also presented their previously conducted SAP activities in their respective regions, followed by a detailed discussion between the UNICEF team, the University focal person, and the participating students.

As a token of appreciation, the University of Peshawar presented commemorative tokens to Mr. Vincent Petit and Mr. Elnur Aliyea.

The meeting concluded with a group photograph with the UNICEF team and the participants.

Following the meeting, the UNICEF delegation met with the worthy Vice Chancellor, University of Peshawar, Prof. Dr. Johar Ali. The Vice Chancellor expressed his full support for UNICEF activities at the University of Peshawar and assured continued institutional cooperation and facilitation for UNICEF initiatives at the university.
