
Dr. Lal Badshah is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany, University of Peshawar. He is actively engaged in teaching, academic research, and postgraduate supervision. His research interests focus on the flora, vegetation ecology, and biodiversity of Pakistan’s alpine and sub-alpine zones, with particular emphasis on plant adaptation, phytogeography, and conservation of high-altitude ecosystems. He is keenly interested in exploring the impacts of climate change on alpine plant communities and promotes field-based botanical research to support sustainable management of Pakistan’s mountainous regions.
