SAFETY AND EFFICACY OF INVESTIGATIONAL DRUGS THROUGH KNOWN AND INNOVATIVE PRE-CLINICAL MODELS:
My research activities focus on testing compounds from both synthetic and natural origins for the management of diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease, pain management (neuropathic pain /nociceptive/ inflammatory pain, ulcerogenicity, depression, anxiety, dependence, tolerance, and vomiting.
Research Skills (During PhD and Post-Doctorate study in the USA):
1. Western blot analysis/Immuno blot analysis
2. Immunohistochemistry (Bright-field microscopy and immunofluorescence assay)
3. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)
4. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR)
5. Handling of laboratory animals (mice, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits etc.)
6. Drug administration techniques (IM, IV, IP, PO) in laboratory animals (mice, rats, guinea pig, rabbits etc.
7. Blood withdrawal techniques from laboratory animals (mice, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits etc.)
8. Behavioral techniques for anxiety, memory, depression, Opioid addiction, Opioid tolerance, neuropathic and neuroinflammatory pain.
9. In-Vitro Isolated tissue experiments (Power Lab/OB/KG)
A.Basic and advanced pharmacological in-vivo experimental techniques (Rodent models)
