About

Dr. Muhammad Uzair is a Lecturer in the Department of Physics, University of Peshawar, with over 17 years of teaching and research experience. He holds an MSc in Physics (with distinction) from the University of Malakand and a PhD in Electroceramics (Materials Physics) from the University of Peshawar, with part of his doctoral research conducted at the University of Sheffield, UK. His expertise spans experimental and computational materials science, including electroceramics, structural and electrical characterization (TG/DTA, XRD, SEM, impedance analysis), and first-principles DFT calculations using WIEN2k. He has published 44 research articles (h-index: 16; cumulative impact factor ~130) and has supervised students at BS, MSc, MPhil, and PhD levels. He is also actively involved in academic administration, curriculum development, and policy-related committees.
