Career Development Center Organizes Educational Visit to State Bank of Pakistan During Financial Literacy Week

The Career Development Center (CDC) at the Institute of Management Studies successfully organized an inspiring and informative one-day educational visit to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) as part of Financial Literacy Week. The visit aimed to enhance students’ understanding of financial systems, monetary policy, and the importance of financial awareness in today’s dynamic economic environment.

During the visit, Dr. Dur e Nayab, Coordinator CDC, delivered an insightful session highlighting the critical role of financial literacy in personal and professional decision-making. She emphasized how informed financial behavior empowers individuals and how student-led initiatives and academic–institutional collaborations can contribute meaningfully to economic awareness and sustainable development.

The students were given the opportunity to engage with SBP professionals, gaining first-hand exposure to the functions and responsibilities of Pakistan’s central bank. This experience proved instrumental in broadening their perspectives and strengthening their interest in finance-related career paths.
