Education
I completed my secondary education from BISE Peshawar in 1990, securing 563 out of 850 marks (1st Division). In 1992 I passed my intermediate from BISE Saidu Sharif with 598 out of 1100 marks (2nd Division). I earned a B.Sc. from the University of Peshawar in 1994 with 330 out of 550 marks (1st Division). I received an MLISc from the University of Peshawar in 1997, achieving 383 out of 600 marks (1st Division) and was awarded the Gold Medal. I completed a B.Ed. from Allama Iqbal Open University in 1998 with 571 out of 900 marks (1st Division). I later obtained an M.Phil. from the University of the Punjab in 2012 with a 3.57 CGPA (1st Division), and a Ph.D. from the University of the Punjab in 2018 with a 3.28 CGPA (1st Division).
Distinction
First class first in MLISc (Gold Medal)
Experience
I served at the University of Peshawar from 1 September 1998 to 22 October 2000 as an Ad-hoc Lecturer (BPS-17), responsible for teaching and research.
From 23 October 2000 to 29 April 2013 I continued at the University of Peshawar as Lecturer (BPS-17/18) on a permanent appointment, carrying out teaching and research duties.
From 30 April 2013, I have served at the University of Peshawar as Assistant Professor (BPS-19) on a permanent basis, with primary responsibilities in teaching and research.
Since 02 Dec, 2024, I have been serving at the University of Peshawar as Assistant Professor (BPS-20 PG), with primary responsibilities in teaching and research.
